Before moving to Canada, Dr. Neda Sadighi was practicing as a dedicated eye surgeon in Iran. She first received her MD degree from Shahid Beheshti University in Tehran in 1996 and began her career as a family physician. She then returned to complete her four-year residency program at the prestigious Department of Ophthalmology at Shahid Beheshti University, passed the Board Exam of Ophthalmology and started her new career as an eye surgeon in well-known hospitals in Tehran.
At the same time, she established her own private clinic in Tehran and passionately managed a wide range of eye diseases with a special focus on Cataract, Glaucoma, Diabetic Retinopathy, and Dry Eye. In addition, she gained outstanding expertise on managing refractive errors either with LASIK surgery or prescribing appropriate glasses and specialty contact lenses.
After immigrating to Canada, Dr. Sadighi enrolled in the Optometry School at the University of Waterloo and successfully passed the Canadian Board Exam of Optometry in 2014. She then continued her passion as a Doctor of Optometry to provide excellent eye care in several busy locations across Ontario. Currently, she is eagerly practicing as an optometrist in Richmond Hill, Downtown Toronto, Mississauga, and London Ontario. Dr. Sadighi is a member of College of Optometrists of Ontario as well as the Iranian Association of Ophthalmology.
Growing up on the shores of Lake Huron, Dr. Hutchinson earned his Bachelor of Science degree with Honours where he majored in Biomedical Sciences. He then moved to Chicago to obtain his Doctor of Optometry degree from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating with Honors.
Dr. Hutchinson has gained a great deal of experience in corneal disease and contact lens fittings from his internship at the Centre for Cornea and Contact Lens Excellence in Chicago. Furthermore, he has received extensive training in the diagnosis, management and treatment of ocular disease while completing his training at the Battle Creek Veterans Affairs Hospital in Michigan and the Illinois Eye Institute Advanced Care Clinic. It was here that he received his training in the use of oral and ocular therapeutics to treat ocular disease and is licensed to do so in Ontario.
Dr. Hutchinson is an active member of the College of Optometrists of Ontario. He is board certified to practice in Canada as well as the United States. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, Anne, as well as exercising and playing sports including golf, tennis, and basketball.
