Let us answer your laser eye surgery questions

We think glasses are a great way to make a statement about your personal style. But for some people, glasses are impractical and contact lenses require too much upkeep. In those cases, laser eye surgery is a great option.

But how do you know whether surgery is right for you? What are the risks? Will the results last forever?

It’s perfectly natural to have questions before deciding whether you want elective surgery or not. That’s why our optometrists at Optical Eyeworks are here.

Our laser eye surgery consultations are a safe place for you to ask questions, express concerns, and find out what to expect from your procedure. Booking a consultation with our optometrists is the first step towards a contact lens and glasses-free lifestyle.

Working with professional & trustworthy surgeons

Once our optometrists know you’re a good candidate for laser eye surgery, we’ve answered all your questions, and you’ve decided to move forward with your surgery, we will refer you to a special eye surgeon called an ophthalmologist.

The surgeons we work with are experienced, attentive, and dedicated to giving you the best possible results.

How we support you

Optical Eyeworks offers surgery co-management, which means our optometrists work with your surgeon to ensure you have everything you need before and after your surgery.

Before Your Procedure

The entire process starts with a consultation. We will meet with you to evaluate your eye health, discuss your needs, and answer any questions you might have.

Assuming surgery is right for you, we can tell you about the different available procedures and which one the ophthalmologist will most likely perform based on your unique ocular health. Once you’ve asked all your questions and are ready to move forward, we’ll refer you to a surgeon.

After Your Procedure

Different surgeries have different recovery times and side effects. Our optometrists will check in with you after your surgery to find out how you’re healing, how your vision is stabilizing and answer any questions you have. We will also schedule a series of follow-up appointments to evaluate your vision and determine whether you still need any vision correction.

If you ever have concerns or questions for our optometrists after your surgery, we are only ever a phone call away.
